Watch care guide
This guide explains how to use your watch correctly and how to protect its water resistance. Please read this before setting the time or taking your watch near water.
The crown is the small knob on the side of the watch.
Your crown must always be screwed down tightly against the case when you are finished adjusting your watch.
If the crown is left open or not screwed down properly water can enter the watch and flood the internal movement.
Please always check your crown is fully closed before any contact with water.
How to open the crown
If the crown is not screwed down tightly water can enter the watch.
If water enters the watch it can damage or flood the internal movement.
This is one of the most common mistakes customers make.
If you are going near water always check the crown is fully screwed down first.
After changing the time or date always screw the crown back down tightly.
If the crown is not fully closed water can get into the watch.
Push in. Screw down. Check it is tight.
