Blessington Returns, Refunds, Pre order, and Water Damage Policy

Quick summary

  1. We do not accept change of mind returns.

  4. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law.

  5. Pre orders cannot be cancelled or refunded for change of mind. They can be swapped as outlined below.

  6. Water damage is not covered when caused by improper use, including the crown not being fully secured. We only cover water damage if it is proven to be a manufacturing fault with sealing or waterproofing.

1 Change of mind returns

We do not accept change of mind returns.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. You ordered the wrong model.

  2. You no longer want the item.

  3. You do not like the colour, size, or appearance in person.

  4. You found it cheaper elsewhere.

  5. You changed your mind after ordering.

2 Exchanges to another model

We may offer an exchange to another model as a goodwill option if you do not like the model you purchased.

Exchange requirements

  1. You must contact us first, and receive approval, before sending anything back.

  2. The watch must be unworn, and in brand new condition.

  3. All original packaging must be included.

  4. All protective stickers and protective film must be intact.

  5. The request must be lodged within 14 days of delivery.

Exchange costs

  1. You cover all shipping costs for the exchange, including return shipping to us, and shipping of the replacement back to you.

  2. If the new model is higher in price, you pay the difference.

  3. If the new model is lower in price, we issue store credit for the difference.

Important notes

  1. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

  2. If the returned item shows signs of wear, we may decline the exchange.

3 Sizing

We do not accept returns for sizing.

Most bracelets can be adjusted by removing links. We recommend having your watch resized at a local jeweller or watch shop.

We do not offer a band adjustment service.

4 Faults, damage on arrival, and incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

Timeframes

  1. For shipping damage or missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  2. For manufacturing faults, please contact us within a reasonable time after you notice the issue.

What we need from you

  1. Your order number.

  2. Clear photos, and if possible a short video, showing the issue.

  3. If the issue is shipping related, photos of the packaging and shipping label.

What we will do

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law. This may include repair, replacement, refund, or store credit, where appropriate and agreed.

If the issue is a major failure, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement.

5 Return condition requirements for approved returns

If a return is approved, all items must be:

  1. Unworn.

  2. In brand new condition.

  3. Returned with all original packaging.

  4. Returned with protective stickers and film intact.

  5. Packed securely to prevent damage in transit.

If your return does not meet these requirements, we may decline the return, or apply a deduction if the item has been used or damaged.

6 Return shipping costs

  1. For change of mind exchanges, you cover all shipping costs.

  2. For confirmed faults, damage on arrival, or incorrect items, we will cover return shipping where required, and where the issue is confirmed.

We do not refund original shipping charges unless required by law.

7 Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  1. Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.

  2. Refunds are processed within 7 business days after the return is received and approved.

  3. Refunds are processed in AUD.

  4. Any currency conversion or bank fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Refund exclusions

  1. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law.

  2. Payment processing fees charged by the payment provider are not refundable.

Non refundable payment processing fees include:

  1. Afterpay 7%.

  2. PayPal 2%.

  3. Shopify Payments 2%.

  4. Crypto.com Pay 1%.

8 Sale items and discounted orders

Orders purchased with a discount of 30% or more are final, and are not eligible for return or refund for change of mind.

This does not limit your rights for faulty products under Australian Consumer Law.

9 Pre orders

Placing a pre order secures your allocation for an upcoming production run.

Pre order rules

  1. Pre orders cannot be cancelled for change of mind.

  2. Pre orders cannot be refunded for change of mind.

  3. Pre orders can be swapped to another model as outlined below.

  4. Dispatch timelines shown on product pages and at checkout are estimates, and may change due to production or shipping factors.

  5. We provide updates by email where possible.

Pre order swaps

  1. Pre orders can be swapped to an in stock model, or another pre order model.

  2. If the new model is higher in price, you pay the difference.

  3. If the new model is lower in price, we issue store credit for the difference.

  4. You cover any shipping costs associated with the swap.

If we cannot fulfil your pre order

If we are unable to supply your pre order, we will contact you and provide a full refund.

10 Water resistance and water damage

Our watches are water resistant to the rating shown on the product page and in the specifications. Water resistance is not a guarantee against water damage in all conditions, and it depends on correct use.

Not covered, customer caused water damage

Water damage is not covered where it is caused by improper use. The most common cause is the crown not being fully secured before contact with water. Water damage may also occur if the watch is used outside its stated water resistance rating.

Covered only if proven manufacturing fault

We will only cover water damage repairs if the issue is proven to be a manufacturing fault with the watch’s sealing or waterproofing.

Inspection and testing

If a water damage claim is lodged, the watch may need to be returned for inspection and waterproof testing before any outcome is confirmed.
If testing shows the watch passed waterproofing standards, or the issue is consistent with improper use, any repair costs and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
If testing confirms a manufacturing fault, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

  4. Photos and video if there is a fault or damage.
